When it comes to plate shears, Schechtl has stood for the best quality since the late sixties. This goes hand in hand with a very high quality standard in all areas, which is reflected in every single shear from our production. Precisely working and highly robust, our shears are predestined for a wide variety of applications in industry and trade. Why are shears from Schechtl superior to other technologies? For example, because all of our models are equipped with cutter bars that are guided by cams and have a shear table for holding metal sheets. Operation and results speak for themselves:

1. PROTECTION OF THE CUTTING MATERIALS

To achieve precise cutting results, the material is fixed on the shear table by means of a self-releasing hold-down device. Then the actual cut takes place. Depending on the stop system, for example with the BV and NC variants, the material to be cut is held at the height of the knives by a tilting table and deposited gently after the cut.

2. CUTTING TECHNIQUE

The backdrop-guided knife beams, which cut at a cutting angle arranged according to the type of machine and length, ensure a material-friendly and energy-efficient cut. Unlike other technologies, there is no need for hydraulics or force-consuming oscillating cutting technology. Our energy-efficient shears cut sheet metal parts in a purely mechanical or electromechanical way.

3. EASY HANDLING

By placing the sheet on the shear table, the sheet can be guided by the blades to a depth stop behind the blade bar of the guillotine shear.

4. STOP SYSTEM

Schechtl offers several stop systems. Starting with a standard back gauge BV up to the motor-controlled variant NC.
